Wow, I didn't even blog during my CP Spring Extension Program! I must say, I occupied every day with memories. A new round of CPs arrived into the boutique and I grew very close to a certain few who I know will be lifelong friends! I started reading the Hunger Games series and ended up seeing the movie 3 times while in Orlando (once when I finally moved home in May). My FGITs and I became collector obsessed with the Sorcerer of the Magic Kingdom cards! I wanted every single one of them before I left my program. Not only did I get them all, but I almost have TWO sets =)
Anyways, to keep it short and sweet.. I started my first semester at FIU this summer. I took Hospitality Law (B), Accounting (B), and Fundamentals in Hospitality (A). Now I have 6 classes for the Fall semester which has kept me pretty busy. I'm working two jobs- a Disney Store Sales Associate and a waitress which occupy the other days I'm not in school. When I don't have either, I'm with my handsome man =) He is still THE BEST!
Since I left Disney in May from my program, I have visited 3 times =) I am not ashamed. In fact, one of my best friends from my recent program posted a link to a Disney Professional Internship with Fairytale Weddings. I wasn't going to apply for anything else Disney wise until I was graduated with my BS from FIU, but I decided that since the boy wanted to possibly end up in Orlando for graduate school/graduate internship for the new year, I might as well apply. Within a few days I found out I was denied from both the Fairytale Weddings Internship and the Catering and Convention Services Management Internship. However, I also applied for Disney Professional Internships Alumni Only, and Catering Management. I've finished an over-the-phone interview for both of them and I now begin the waiting process, AGAIN for these internships! The latest I will find out will be December 7th so please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
